Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 23, 2026

Who we are

Liv provides personal AI assistants that help with everyday things, such as a morning briefing and calendar reminders. This policy explains what information we handle and how. If you have any questions, contact us at support@getliv.co.

What we collect on this website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind, and it loads no third-party scripts. We do not collect personal information when you browse these pages. The only information we receive is what you choose to send us. For example, if you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so we can reply.

Google user data

If you connect your Google Calendar within the Liv app, Liv accesses your calendar data on a read-only basis. We use this access solely to provide the features you have asked for, such as including your schedule in your daily briefing. We do not retain your calendar data. Calendar events are read when a feature you’ve asked for runs (such as displaying your schedule), used to generate that response, and are not stored afterward. The credentials that authorize this access are stored encrypted. When you disconnect, they are invalidated and no longer used.

  • We do not sell your Google user data.
  • We do not use your Google user data for advertising.
  • We do not transfer your Google user data to others except as needed to provide the feature you requested, or as required to comply with applicable law.
  • You can revoke Liv’s access at any time through your Google Account permissions or from within the Liv app (Settings → Privacy & Access).

Liv’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we protect your data

We protect your information with technical safeguards at every layer. The credentials that authorize access to your connected accounts are encrypted at rest using strong encryption (AES-256-GCM, with per-connection keys). All data moves over encrypted connections (TLS). Your data is isolated per user at the database level using row-level security, so one user’s agents can never read another user’s data.

When Liv’s AI features generate a response for you — for example, composing your daily briefing — the relevant content is processed by our AI model provider, Anthropic (Claude models), accessed through OpenRouter, under commercial terms that prohibit using this data to train AI models. We never use your data, including Google user data, to create, train, or improve AI or machine-learning models, and our account with OpenRouter is configured to disallow routing to any provider that trains on request data.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run Liv: Supabase (database hosting, EU region), Northflank (application hosting, EU region), Upstash (short-lived operational data), and OpenRouter/Anthropic (AI processing, as described above). We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services in the Liv app.

Google user data is handled as described above: read at run time, used only to generate the response you asked for, never stored after the run, and never shared with any party other than the AI processing described here.

Data deletion

You may request deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing support@getliv.co. We will delete it unless we are required to retain it to comply with a legal obligation.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law. These can include the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to request its erasure, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

Where we process personal data, our legal bases are: your consent (for example, when you connect Google Calendar or email us); the performance of a service you have requested; and compliance with our legal obligations. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@getliv.co. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
